YS FOUNDATION

Philanthropy to us at YS FOUNDATION is, being engaged, not only with our resources but getting people and ourselves really involved and striving to do things that haven’t been done before.

How We Impart In our Communities through our Foundation.

We envision a better world, where all have access to living conditions that allow empowerment and development, today and forever.
We aim to ensure sustainable access to Food, Safe water, Good Health, and Quality Education for the most vulnerable communities through our charitable foundation and to adhere to our corporate social responsibilities.

Education For Children.

We realize that all children have the right to go to school and learn, regardless of their gender, who they are, where they live, or how much money their family has. More children and adolescents today are enrolled in pre-primary, primary, and secondary education from the YS FOUNDATION scholarship.

Feeding The less Privileged.

We provide cooked and raw foods to communities to enhance their way of life and also ensure they eat balanced diets. We visit one community monthly though we intend to do more and will try to reach out to more families especially in our host communities.

Community Water Provision.

Our community water systems and water safety plans are important ways to ensure the health of the communities around us. Communities lack the capacity to effectively adapt their current systems for water, sanitation, and hygiene to the community’s changing needs.

MITIGATING THE EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON THE POOR.

The COVID-19 pandemic is disproportionately threatening some of the poorest, most vulnerable communities in Nigeria.
YS Foundation is in a unique position to ensure low-income people can continue to access the essential products and services they need to weather this crisis.

Some of our response so far includes:

  • Cash transfers to the poorest and affected households
  • Provide emergency food supplies to the people in quarantine or limited mobility
  • Procure essential protective equipment like hand sanitizers, facemasks, hand gloves, etc.
  • Help support the government to promote community participation to help slow the spread of the virus in our immediate community.

Distribution of Cloths and other household materials to the less privileged during celebrations
